Allen Park’s Sports Precinct

ACTIVE RECREATION

Allen Park is home to a range of active sporting clubs including the Swanbourne Tennis Club, Associates Rugby Union Football Club, Swanbourne Tigers Aussie Rules Football Club and Swanbourne Cricket Club.

Players and supporters alike enjoy the well-maintained playing areas, and socialising at their clubrooms located in the Park.

Along with organised sports, many people visit Allen Park simply to kick a ball or run around the ovals; and of course many dogs and their owners use Allen Park for their daily fun and exercise.

PASSIVE RECREATION

Allen Park is also home to passive recreation.

The WA Bridge Club has its clubhouse adjacent to the Norn Bidi section of the nationally recognised Whadjuk Bush to Beach Trail, and WABC members enjoy playing Bridge most days of the week.

The Fellowship of Australian Writers WA enjoy their creative pastime in the historic Mattie Furphy House in the heritage precinct.
